A chest physician attached to the chest clinic of the Colombo National hospital today checked the health condition of General Sarath Fonseka who is under military detention and reconfirmed that he was in good health contrary to claims by his wife Anoma Fonseka.Military spokesman Major General Prasad Samarasinghe stated that certain tests were also carried out and that General Fonseka continued to be in good health. The same physician had examined General Sarath Fonseka last Monday (5th April 2010) as well.
